PhD position: in Computational and Theoretical Polymer Physics
Coarse-grained models are an essential tool for computational studies of polymeric materials. In this project we aim to develop and validate coarse-grained models for concentrated polymer liquids. The models are based on hierarchical backmapping and soft potentials while validation tools are derived from knot theory. Coarse-grained structures will be compared to microscopic reference data generated by large-scale molecular dynamics simulations.
